TIMELINE
Introduction
Conversion of former office building called “De Holland” into 58 luxurious apartments with communal facilities including a roof terrace and laundrette.
In 2021, the building formed the canvas for a special public artwork on “True Freedom”. Co-created by Hoffestival participants. Among others, the portrait of “William van Oranje”, a cherub with laurel wreath and several children’s drawings about freedom can be found. The work was created by Barbara van Druten and Niki Koutouras of Artvertisements on behalf of the national museum of education.
