Challenge
Creating Identity Within a Large-Scale Urban Transformation
The challenge was to design a residential building that could stand out architecturally while remaining part of a larger urban framework. KPVM01 needed to provide density without feeling closed or anonymous, and to offer social housing with the same architectural ambition as any other residential typology.

Approach
Architecture as a Pavilion in the City
KPVM01 is conceived as a pavilion-like residential building that opens itself to its green surroundings. The design balances robustness and refinement, creating a clear architectural presence while maintaining a human scale. By carefully shaping the building volume and its relationship to the public realm, KPVM01 integrates seamlessly into the evolving Brainpark district.
