Koelhuis District transforms a neglected industrial strip into a connected ecosystem of creativity, living, and innovation. By linking cultural infrastructure with new workspaces and housing, BakkersHommen® sets a new standard for adaptive urban regeneration.

The district’s cultural heart — a 6,745 m² cold storage building reimagined as a venue for immersive art, music, and design. Once slated for demolition, now a nationally protected monument and creative anchor for the area.
